Hey everyone, hoping some of you can help me out here.

I'm putting together Halloween plans for my family this year and I'm struggling a bit. My youngest gets spooked really easily, and even a mildly creepy mask can end the night with tears. So I'm on the hunt for non scary costumes that still feel fun and not like a last minute pick from the bargain bin.

I'd love ideas for a few different situations:

1. Something for a little kid who doesn't like anything gory or dark
2. Something for adults who want a cute or funny look for an office party
3. A family or couple theme that's easy to pull together without spending a fortune

So far I've thought about a bumblebee, a cozy woodland animal and maybe a friendly chef. Nothing has felt quite right yet.

What have you all worn or put together that got good reactions without going the horror route? Any tips on where to shop or what to DIY would be great too.
