Season 15 farming works better when you stop asking one activity to cover every need. You might spend an evening sorting through Diablo 4 Items, only to realize your next upgrade is held up by Glyph levels or crafting materials. That's the moment to change your route. Undercity is worth your time when XP and Paragon are the priority; the Pit has a clearer job when Glyphs need work. Helltide, Whispers, and Nightmare Dungeon Escalations fill different gaps along the way. Before you queue up another run, look at what's actually stopping your character from improving. Then pick the activity, Splinter, and War Plan that address that problem. It sounds obvious, but it's easy to keep running the place you know best long after its rewards have stopped helping.

Start With the Bottleneck

If you're pushing Paragon, build your Undercity runs around Attunement, not full clears. Get it up quickly, open the boss portal, collect the experience orbs you can reach, and move on. Jade Epiphany makes those orbs more valuable, while Finely Tuned Pathfinder and Endless Storm can help you get through Beacons sooner. Tributes give you a reason to return when you're after something more specific, such as Runes or other seasonal materials. Your Splinter choice matters here, too. Splinter of Lies supports Gold and XP farming, whereas Splinter of Damnation raises Monster Power in exchange for a tougher, potentially more rewarding run. Don't leave the same one equipped out of habit. If stronger enemies slow you down enough that each run drags, the extra reward may not be worth it. Time a few runs and judge the result by what you earn per session, not by the biggest number on the screen.

Keep the Supply Runs Short

Helltide earns its place in the rotation when you need Cinders and supporting resources. Maggots and Chaos Portals can help you build Threat and gather currency, but there's no prize for holding Cinders after you've earned enough for the chest you want. Check the time remaining, spend what you can, and move on. The 666 Cinder chest is an option when you've built up a large supply. Whispers fit neatly around these runs: pick up objectives that overlap with what you're already doing, then turn them in for caches and a chance at useful Keys or Sparks. Nightmare Dungeon Escalations are better when crafting is the real holdup. Material Reserves and Gem Reserves let you lean toward the resources you need; Waking Spoils and Dread Revival can add reward opportunities. Branching Pathways gives you a choice after a dungeon, so pay attention to where each route leads instead of clicking through on autopilot.

Know When to Switch to the Pit or Bosses

The Pit isn't where I'd go to solve a shortage of general materials. It's where Glyph progress becomes the point of the session. Run a level you can clear reliably, take the upgrade opportunities, and raise the difficulty when your clear times still feel comfortable. Splinter of Hatred and relevant War Plan choices can help you get more from those runs. When Mythic Uniques become the goal, shift to Lair Bosses instead. Duriel is a practical target if you can fund repeated attempts and reach the arena quickly. Learn the route so travel doesn't eat up the time you saved on the fight. Splinter of Destruction suits this kind of farming, though the added Monster Power is only worthwhile if your build can handle it without turning every encounter into a slog. Keep a few different Splinters in reserve, and use Escalations and their caches to replenish your supply rather than spending every drop as soon as it lands.

Final Thoughts

A useful farming rotation changes as your character does. Spend time in Undercity while XP is the issue, move to the Pit when Glyphs fall behind, and use Helltide, Whispers, and Escalations to cover the costs of your next upgrade. Save boss runs for the point when you have both the materials and a build that can clear them consistently. Gold deserves the same discipline. Before you reroll or upgrade gear, decide which item is worth the expense and what improvement you're looking for. Some players choose to buy D4 Gold, but extra currency won't tell you which activity holds the resource you're missing. Check your gear, name the bottleneck, and give the next few runs a purpose. When that need changes, change the route with it.
