Shani's Trifecta job sounds simple at first, then it turns into a grind the second you realise how stingy the drops can be. If you're going in blind, save yourself the hassle and plan around the machine parts from the start, especially if you've already been keeping an eye on ARC Raiders Items and how much value some quest rewards can unlock later. You need two kills and two loot drops from each target type: Wasps, Hornets, and Snitches. That's the whole assignment. The hard part is that the kills come fast, while the items often don't.

Starting with Wasps

Do the Wasps first. They're the least durable of the three, but they're still annoying because they won't sit still for more than a second. A lot of players waste time chasing them with close-range weapons, and that usually ends badly. Stay back. Use an assault rifle if your aim's steady, or a marksman weapon if you're good at tracking movement. Aim low when they dip, because the underside is often the easiest shot you'll get. Don't stop moving either. If you pause in open ground, they'll melt your health. You only need two Wasp Drivers, but there's a decent chance the first pair you kill won't drop both, so expect to farm a few extra.

Moving on to Hornets

Once the Wasps are done, switch your build and go after Hornets. These are tougher, louder, and way less forgiving. They soak damage, so this is where heavier gear starts paying off. Rockets work well if you've got the ammo, and a strong shotgun can finish the job if one pushes too close. The main thing is not letting their pressure stack up. If they start releasing smaller drones, clear those quickly or the fight gets messy in a hurry. Two kills and two Hornet Drivers sounds manageable, but this step can easily drag on because the drop chance feels inconsistent. If you're having a rough run, reset your route and hit the spawns again instead of forcing a bad fight.

Dealing with Snitches

Snitches are the part that catches people out. They're not hard to kill once you know where they are. Finding them before they explode near your feet, though, that's the real issue. Listen more than you look. You'll usually hear the sound cue first, and that gives you a second or two to react. Grenades are great here, and so are launchers, since you can flush them out without getting too close. Just don't panic-fire near hazards, because that's how runs get thrown away. You need two Snitch Scanners, and just like the other steps, there's no promise the first two kills will cover it. Bring patience more than anything else.

What makes the reward worth it

The quest does at least give you three Remote Raider Flares at the start, which are more useful than they seem. They help with visibility, team coordination, and those tense moments when your squad gets split. After you turn in the two Wasp Drivers, two Hornet Drivers, and two Snitch Scanners, the rewards are strong: the Orange Camo Origin Outfit, a Raider Hatch Key, the Dam Control Tower Key, and two defibrillators. That's a solid bundle for one mission, especially if you're trying to open up more options for future runs. And if you're the kind of player who likes getting geared up efficiently, it's no surprise people also check U4GM for useful item and currency support before tackling the tougher parts of the game.
